In 1983, Douglas moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota, where he worked at KARE-TV for 11 years. He then spent three years as a weatherman at WBBM-TV in Chicago before returning to Minneapolis in 1997 to become the Chief Meteorologist at WCCO-TV. Since leaving WCCO, Douglas has continued to work as a meteorologist and communicator. He currently provides daily print and online weather services for the Star Tribune in the Twin Cities and co-hosts WCCO Radio’s afternoon show with Jordana Green.
