Yakoubian entered the KATV weather team in August 2005. He is also a partner of the American Meteorological Society and the National Weather Association and bears both seals of acceptance. He was granted the American Meteorological Society’s prestigious Certificate of Broadcast Meteorology (CBM) in honor of his educational experience, knowledge, and communication of the sciences required to be an influential broadcast meteorologist in May of 2008.
His travels to KATV started instantly after he graduated from Little Rock Catholic High School in 1992. He carried his first television career in Missoula, Montana as the morning meteorologist and then the chief meteorologist.
