Jon Kelley Career
Kelley started his profession as a weekend sports anchor and reporter at KTIV-TV in Sioux City, Iowa. He then worked as a news reporter at KMTV-TV in Omaha, Nebraska, and a sports reporter and weekend sports anchor at WDAF-TV in Kansas City, Missouri. In 2004, Kelly moved to Los Angeles to become the host and direct correspondent for the nationally syndicated entertainment show EXTRA. He has maintained that position ever since. In 2017, Kelly also became the host of the new game show “Funny You Should Ask.”
